Transportation Construction Management
RTG provides construction management and inspection services on roadway, highway and bridge projects with the use of both professional engineers and construction inspectors. RTG provides off-site services such as constructability reviews and time determination schedules as well as on-site field personnel representing our clients.

SH 183 to IH 20
Construction management support working on procurement documents, scope of services, and eventually using a design-build delivery method through design and construction for an 11.5 mile extension of an urban controlled-access tollway on new location. Tasks include assisting with procuring contract documents, design coordination between design-builder and NTTA, plan and construction review, documentation control, NTTA standards, specs, and provisions implementation, and construction inspection.

East of Arterial A to east of Harris Branch Parkway
Construction Cost - $178,000,000
Construction oversight for a design/build project to reconstruct 3.4 miles of four-lane divided rural highway to a six-lane tollway, with continuous frontage roads, including the directional interchange with US 183. RTG tasks included construction inspection of roadway and structures.
SH 190 (President George Bush Turnpike) – North Texas Tollway Authority
Eastern Extension - Sections 28 and 30
Estimated construction cost - $120,000,000
Construction management and inspection of structural items for all major bridge elements on the project including drilled shafts, footings, bent caps, bridge decks and traffic rail. Scheduled materials testing, prepared pay reports, completed daily reports and trained junior inspectors
Chisholm Trail Parkway Section 6 -North Texas Tollway Authority

Construction oversight for 13.1 miles of new location tollway construction in Johnson County. Tasks include design coordination between design-builder and NTTA, plan review, document control, NTTA standards and specifications implementation, and construction inspection.
183A Extension, Williamson County – Central Texas Regional Mobility Authority

Estimated construction cost - $95,500,000
Construction oversight for a 5-mile mainlane extension of urban six-lane controlled-access tollway. Project is located within an environmentally sensitive area and included over 33 retaining walls.
Lewisville Lake Toll Bridge, Denton County - North Texas Tollway Authority
Construction cost - $93,000,000
Construction oversight for a new location four-lane, 1.7-mile toll bridge across Lewisville Lake connecting Swisher Road in Lake Dallas to Eldorado Parkway in Little Elm. The bridge features a lighted, 360-foot tied arch center span. Services included monitoring construction progress; oversight of all inspection activities including supervision of inspectors; coordination with NTTA, USACE, FAA and various local governments to meet project regulatory requirements; and scheduling of material testing.
SH 45, Segments 1 & 2, Austin - Texas Turnpike Authority
Construction cost - $118,757,000
Inspection services for 3.5 miles of an urban six-lane controlled-access tollway including the mainlane toll plaza and the operations building. Services included monitoring construction progress and inspection of utilities, earthwork, MSE walls, bridges, plumbing and electrical.

Construction oversight for design/ build toll-road on new location. Services included providing Senior Construction Managers to ensure design/ build team maintained proper Quality Control procedures.
A.W. Grimes Boulevard, Round Rock - City of Round Rock
Construction cost - $5,000,000
Construction management and inspection services for 3 miles of new location six-lane divided urban arterial. Project included inspection of utilities, earthwork, drill shafts and bridges.
McNeil Road, Round Rock - City of Round Rock
Inspection services for the reconstruction of an intersection on a four-lane urban arterial roadway with a two-lane county road adjacent to a railroad mainline. Project utilized TxDOT standards and was funded by the Austin District.
FM 619, Elgin - Alcoa Corporation
Construction cost - $3,500,000
Construction management and inspection services for the relocation of a two-lane rural highway through Alcoa property. The highway was with private funds and transferred to TxDOT control upon completion. Project included inspection of utilities, earthwork, subgrade stabilization, pavement, culverts, signing and pavement markings.
IH 410 - US 281 Interchange, San Antonio - TxDOT San Antonio District
Provided CPM scheduling support during the reconstruction of this section of IH 410 (McCullogh Ave to Nacogdoches Rd) to include a directional interchange with US 281.
SH 6, Brazos County - TxDOT Bryan District
Provided CPM scheduling support during the reconstruction of 12 miles two-lane rural highway to a four-lane divided section.
FM 1179, Brazos County - TxDOT Bryan District
Provided CPM scheduling support during the construction of a railroad underpass and intersection rework at Wellborn Road and College Avenue.
